Envirowest Tree Guards incorporate the use of Australian manufactured, recyclable plastic sleeves, treated with U.V. film protection. They can be used in conjunction with Jute Mats.
The bamboo stakes can be driven through precut slits in the Jute Mats. Independent research (Dept Of Forestry A.N.U.) into the use of TREE GUARDS has provided the following information:

- Protect trees from vermin such as rabbits, and from harsh environmental conditions, such as strong drying winds.
- Increase height growth compared to unguarded plants.
